Why it's worth doing

You don't know how the last people lived.

Most places get a quick tidy before closing, not a clean. The cupboards you're about to put your plates in, the vanity you're about to fill, the tracks the previous owner's blinds sat in — those rarely get touched, and you'd generally rather not look too closely.

A move-in clean handles all of it before a single box comes through the door. Inside every cabinet and drawer. The walls. The window tracks. The closets. It's the same checklist as a move-out clean, run in the other direction.

Move-in cleaning, answered

When should I book it? +

The day before the movers, if you can get access. An empty house cleans properly and quickly. Once furniture is in, the cupboards are full and half the checklist becomes impossible without unpacking everything again.

Is it the same as a move-out clean? +

Same checklist, same price structure, different direction. See move-out cleaning if you're the one handing over the keys.

What if the place is in bad shape? +

Tell us on the call and, if you can, send a couple of photos. We'd rather quote it accurately up front than turn up with a three-hour plan for a six-hour job. It happens more often than you'd think and it's not a problem — we just need to know.

Do you clean after renovations? +

Yes, though post-construction dust is its own thing and needs more time. Mention the renovation when you call so we quote it properly rather than under-booking the day.
