Behind the furniture, inside the microwave, the grease on the hood vent, the hard water on the shower door. A deep clean is a reset — the one you book before a routine schedule starts, or when it's been a while and you know it.

A regular visit keeps a house from sliding. It doesn't undo months of buildup, because it isn't meant to — there simply isn't time in a standard clean to pull the couch out, degrease the hood vent, and get the hard water off the shower glass.
A deep clean is where that happens. It takes longer, it costs more, and it goes after the things that have quietly accumulated: fingerprints on every cabinet door, dust on the ceiling fans, cobwebs in the corners you stopped seeing, residue along the baseboards and door frames.
Toronto homes are sealed up for five months of the year. Things build up faster here than people expect.
Most people book one before starting a routine schedule, after moving in, once the renovation dust has settled, or before putting a house on the market. Whatever the reason, it's the same job: room by room, top to bottom, nothing rushed.
This is the working checklist, straight off the sheet the team uses. A deep clean includes everything on a routine visit, plus all of the below.
We'd rather tell you now than have you find out on the day. None of the below is part of a deep clean:
I booked a deep clean before my parents visited from out of town. The team was thorough beyond anything I expected — they cleaned things I hadn't touched in years. The kitchen alone looked brand new. Absolutely worth every penny.
We moved into a new house and wanted it properly cleaned before our furniture arrived. MyCleanHaven sent a team of three and they were there for six hours. Every surface, every corner, every ceiling fan — impeccable. We immediately signed up for bi-weekly.
I've tried four different cleaning companies in Toronto and MyCleanHaven is on a completely different level. The deep clean was detailed, professional, and they even folded the towels. I don't know how I went this long without them.
Tell us roughly when the place was last done properly. If a routine clean would do the job we'll say so — talking you into the more expensive service is a good way to lose you after one visit.
Considerably longer than a routine visit — a few hours for a small condo, and a full day with a larger team for a family home that hasn't been done in a while. We'll give you a realistic window when we quote, and we'd rather over-estimate than have the team rushing at 4pm.
Usually, yes — and we'll be honest with you about it. If the house has been maintained, a routine clean can start straight away. If it's been a year or two, the first visit will be spent chasing buildup rather than cleaning, and you won't be happy with the result. One deep clean up front and then a routine schedule is nearly always the cheaper path.
Inside the dishwasher, garages, and under heavy appliances aren't included. Cabinet and drawer interiors aren't either — those belong to a move-out clean. Inside the oven and inside the fridge can be added on.
Yes. Everything we use is Eco-Logo certified, which is Health Canada's standard for non-toxic cleaners. They're strong enough for grease and hard water without leaving a chemical film on the surfaces your family actually touches.
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it, free. If you're still not happy, we refund the clean.
Tell us about your home and roughly when it was last done properly. One of us will call you back with a real number — usually the same day.
